YISO

PEREZ

I’m Yiso Pérez,

A photographer and creative director specializing in fashion, editorial portraiture, and artistic projects.

I AM YISO PEREZ

A Creative Director Photographer

specializing in fashion,

editorial portraiture,

and artistic projects.

My work emerges from a constant need to observe, interpret, and transform each story into an image that speaks with both sensitivity and strength.

My background in photography, from composition and lighting to portraiture, digital development, and visual direction, has shaped a personal language that is precise, evocative, and deeply emotional. Throughout my career, I’ve created projects across Cuba, Panama, South Korea, Japan, Bulgaria, and Kenya, exploring themes of identity, contemporary aesthetics, cultural tradition, and visual narrative.

I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with artists such as Jon Batiste, Grammy and Academy Award (Oscar) winner, integrating production, art direction, and conceptual development to craft images that go beyond representation and become immersive visual experiences.

My personal series, including Tributo a sus ancestros (exhibited at Galería Servando in Havana), and my recent projects in Asia and Europe move between the documentary and the poetic, always seeking an intimate dialogue between light, body, and memory.

As the founder and director of Yiso Studios, I develop visual work that blends aesthetics, strategy, and communication for brands, artists, and cultural organizations. I’ve curated and produced the interdisciplinary event M.O.R.: Mil Otras Realidades, and have participated in international fairs and exhibitions such as FIABCN Barcelona, Feria 360 Madrid, Art Expo Algarve, and the Geoje International Art Festival in South Korea.

I am currently based in Panama, working on commercial and artistic projects for clients and collaborators around the world.
