Tributo a sus Ancestros (Kenya)

«Tribute to Their Ancestors» is a personal series born from my encounter with the spiritual strength, ritual aesthetics, and visual identity of Kenyan women. Through color, symbolism, and intentional staging, these images celebrate the bond between body, land, and ancestral legacy.

Each portrait becomes a dialogue between tradition and contemporaneity: reimagined adornments, ceremonial gestures, and landscapes that hold memory. My approach to light, composition, and artistic direction acts as a bridge to reveal the dignity, power, and profound beauty present in each of them.

Above all, this project stands as an homage to African feminine heritage and to the living presence of their stories.
